Generally pelmets and valances hang from a pelmet board and so conceal the curtain track. They are a clever way of utilising the dead wall space above a window whilst providing anything from a simple to a dramatic finish.
Fabrics with distinctive patterns are shown off to their best advantage when viewed on a flat pelmet, and the bottom edge of pelmets and valances can be enhanced or defined with the addition of contrast fabric, braid or rope trims.
Swags and tails are a sumptuous window treatment. More often associated with a traditional setting they are surprisingly versatile and can be adapted to a more contemporary enviroment.
With a huge range of treatments to choose from we have shown a small cross section for your consideration.
